Competition lovers can be in with a chance of winning a cruise to Iceland, taking in the Orkney and Faroe Islands en route.

The cruise, departing March 23, 2023, onboard Ambience, sails from London Tilbury (so no flight faff required!) up the east coast of the British Isles to Reykjavik – the only capital city in the world besides Nuuk in Greenland where you can see the northern lights. There’s also a fabulous culinary scene (anyone for some rotten shark?) and Hallgrimskirkja, the largest church in Iceland.
Ambience will stay overnight in Reykjavik so you’ll have plenty of time to explore this fabulous city and head out to spot the aurora borealis.
You can also spot the phenomenon in the Faroe Islands where the northern lights are called the Norðlýsi. Over in the Orkney Islands they’re known as the merry dancers and the archipelago is actually one of the best places in the UK to spot them thanks to unobstructed views and low levels of light pollution.
