Plitvice Lakes National Park, granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979, is Croatia’s most popular tourist attraction. The country’s largest national park and hidden in the Dinarides Mountains, the park covers almost 30,000 hectares. It’s easily explorable thanks to four hiking trails that are organised into seven different routes to tour the park.
