Zadar’s Sea Organ, opened in 2005, is part urban architecture part musical instrument. It is seventy meters long with thirty-five organ pipes built under the concrete. The construction captures the movements of the waves as the sea pushes air throughout the pipes and transforms it into random harmonic sounds.
