The Centre Pompidou in Paris is home to the National Museum of Modern Art. A 20th-century architectural marvel, it’s recognisable by its exterior escalators and huge coloured tubing. Art here is from the 20th and 21st centuries, housing the works of such greats as Matisse, Picasso and Warhol. A terrific view can be had from the top floor of the iconic building designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers.
