The Serra de Tramuntana is a mountain range running the length of Mallorca’s northern coast. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site the range is almost 90km long – at Cap de Formentor, to the southwesternmost point of the island, near Andratx – and boasts numerous peaks over a kilometre high. It can be explored by car, bike or on foot and provides amazing views as well as a series of picturesque and historic towns and villages.
