Sail on the most exclusive luxury river cruise ship on the Danube in 2023

Riverside Luxury Cruises is set to enter the luxury river cruise market next year after acquiring Crystal Cruises ship Mozart – what can you expect from the new river cruise line?

River cruises are a brilliant way for anyone new-to-cruise to dip a toe into the water of cruising. You can always see the river bank, you stop daily often enjoying overnight stays in a port and can relish just as much luxury as you can on an ocean cruise.

Anyone looking to join a river cruise in 2023 – and do so in style – will be excited to hear about the launch of Riverside Luxury Cruises.

The brand is the child of the family-owned German hotel brand, Seaside Collection which continues to grow in the luxury sector all the way into river cruising.

The year Riverside Luxury Cruises revealed it had acquired Crystal Cruises’ Mozart – the most exclusive river cruise ship on the Danube.

The vessel was originally built in 1987 and then underwent a major renovation in 2016 before becoming Crystal Cruises’ first river cruise ship.

Now dubbed Riverside Mozart, it will begin cruising in April 2023 with guests able to embark in Vienna, Budapest and Passau. Itineraries will range from three to 14 nights.

And when the new river cruise brand says luxury, it means luxury. Guests will enjoy one of the largest river cruise ships on the Danube, where every room is a spacious suite and comes with a personal butler.

For more indulgence, there’s a spa onboard where you can head to the sauna, treat yourself to a massage, or slip into the hot tub. Or maybe you fancy a dip in the indoor swimming pool!

Hungry? There are four first-class restaurants onboard. In these eateries, award-winning chef, Johannes Bar and his team will create ever-changing specialities inspired by locally sourced and seasonal produce from each region, as the ship sails from port to port.

Thirsty? Why not sit with a flute of Taittinger on the Vista Deck as you sail serenely through the landscape of the Wachau Valley?

The pricing structure for each sailing allows guests to select their beverage plan, plus the option to add excursions, providing plenty of flexibility and personal choice.

The All-Inclusive Premium Incl. Excursions packages offer great value for money with meals, premium drinks, daily excursions and more all included.

For a three-night cruise, this starts at £1,075pp while for a seven-night sailing it starts at £2,359pp.

Cruises will be available to book in the New Year.
