Is there a more cultured city in Europe than Paris? That is debatable; what’s not is that France is a great country to visit, and it’s not far away at all.

Just a short ferry ride or a trip through the Channel Tunnel, France is the perfect holiday destination for UK travellers, and it is clear to see why it is the second most visited location after Spain.

Much of France has a similar climate as the UK’s south. You will have to travel to the French Riviera in the south for warmer weather.

The French Alps are another excellent option for those that like a more active holiday, with skiing and snowboarding proving to be extremely popular here.
