Dining is a huge part of life on board the Disney Cruise Line fleet, and food is included 24 hours a day – from playful poolside bites to fine dining with sea views. With rotational dining, themed restaurants, casual options and adult-only exclusives, Disney Cruise Line cruises deliver variety, flexibility and plenty of magic at mealtimes.

Rotational Dining
Every night on a Disney cruise, you’ll eat in a different main restaurant as part of the line’s unique rotational dining system. You keep the same servers and tablemates, but rotate through immersive venues like Animator’s Palate, Worlds of Marvel, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, Tiana’s Place, Rapunzel’s Royal Table and more.

Each restaurant has a unique menu and entertainment experience. Animator’s Palate might feature scenes from Disney films, while Arendelle brings the Frozen gang to your table for dinner and a show.

Breakfast & Lunch
Mornings and midday meals are just as flexible. Head to table-service venues such as Lumiere’s, Enchanted Garden, Royal Court or Triton’s for a more traditional breakfast or lunch, or opt for Cabanas – a casual buffet available across the fleet.

Quick-service spots like Flo’s Café, Daisy’s De-Lites and Eye Scream Treats serve up everything from burgers and wraps to fresh fruit, ice cream and snacks right by the pool.

Room Service
All Disney Cruise Line rooms and staterooms include complimentary 24-hour room service. It’s available for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks – perfect for a lazy start or late-night treat. Service runs until 1:30 AM on the final day of your cruise. Gratuities are at your discretion.

Dine and Play
If you’re travelling with children, Disney makes it easy for grown-ups to enjoy a more relaxed meal. With the Dine and Play programme, kids can finish early and be picked up by youth counsellors so parents can linger over dessert.

Adult-Exclusive Dining
Looking for something more refined? Disney Cruise Line’s adult-only dining venues are all about fine food and elegant surroundings. These premium restaurants are not included in your cruise fare, and reservations are required.

  • Palo – Italian cuisine with sea views (on all ships)
  • Palo Steakhouse – Disney Wish, Treasure and Destiny
  • Remy – French fine dining on Disney Dream and Fantasy
  • Enchanté – By three-star Michelin chef Arnaud Lallement, on Disney Wish, Treasure and Destiny

Dress codes vary slightly by venue, but expect polished or formal attire. There’s a cancellation fee for no-shows or bookings cancelled within 24 hours.

Special Dietary Needs
Disney Cruise Line caters well for dietary requirements. Vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and no-added-sugar options are available in all main restaurants. Halal and kosher meals can be arranged with advanced notice (ideally five weeks prior). Use the Special Requests or Special Services forms in your booking and always double-check with your servers onboard.

Note: Quick-service and room service may be less able to accommodate severe allergies, and cross-contact cannot be fully ruled out.

Drinks & Alcohol
There are no traditional Disney Cruise Line drink packages, but drinks are available to buy onboard, from speciality coffees to cocktails. Guests 21+ can bring up to two bottles of wine or six beers per port, in carry-on luggage. A $26 corkage fee applies for wine consumed in dining rooms.

Entertainment on board Disney Cruise Line cruises is immersive, theatrical and packed with magic for all ages. From Broadway-style musicals to late-night bars, fireworks at sea and imaginative play spaces, there’s something for everyone on every ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet.

Live Shows
Disney’s signature musicals are performed in grand style at sea, with full-scale productions that rival the West End. Depending on your ship, you could see Frozen: A Musical Spectacular, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled: The Musical, The Tale of Moana, Hercules, Disney Seas the Adventure or The Little Mermaid – all staged in the Walt Disney Theatre.

Deck Parties & Fireworks
Sailings typically kick off with Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Party, and many cruises feature Pirate Night with themed shows and fireworks (weather permitting). Special sailings may include Pixar Day at Sea or Marvel Day at Sea, with exclusive characters and entertainment.

Movies at Sea
Watch first-run Disney films and classics at Wonderland or Never Land Cinema, or head outdoors for poolside screenings under the stars on Funnel Vision.

Character Experiences
Meet Disney favourites throughout your voyage – from Mickey and Minnie to Disney Princesses, Pixar stars and Marvel superheroes. Appearances happen all over the ship, including scheduled meet-and-greets, surprise encounters and live dining entertainment at venues like Arendelle and Worlds of Marvel.

Youth Clubs
For kids aged 3–17, Disney Cruise Line offers expansive, themed clubs staffed by trained Youth Counsellors. Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are designed for children aged 3–12, while tweens and teens can hang out in Edge (11–14) and Vibe (14–17) with activities from gaming to movie nights and parties.

Family Activities
Beyond kids’ clubs, there’s trivia, deck games, karaoke, animation classes, pool parties and game shows for all ages to enjoy together. It’s designed to keep everyone entertained, no matter the weather or itinerary.

Just for Adults
Adults can unwind at the Quiet Cove Pool, enjoy spa treatments at Senses Spa & Salon or take part in wine tastings, live music and comedy nights. Themed bars and lounges across the fleet include Nightingale’s, Luna, Soul Cat Lounge, De Vil’s, Saga and Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge.

For something more indulgent, book a romantic dinner at one of the adult-exclusive restaurants — Palo, Palo Steakhouse, Remy or Enchanté. These fine dining venues are for over-18s only and require reservations and a service charge.

Castaway Cay & Serenity Bay
On select Caribbean and Bahamian cruises, you’ll stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay – home to Serenity Bay, a peaceful beach exclusively for adults. It’s ideal for sunbathing, massage treatments or enjoying a cocktail in total tranquillity.

Disney Treasure Oceanview Stateroom

Disney Wish – Stateroom

Disney Wish – Stateroom

Disney Cruise Line staterooms are designed with families in mind and blend comfort, practicality and a touch of enchantment. Across all ships, there are four core cabin categories: Inside, Oceanview, Verandah and Concierge. Each offers variations in layout and location depending on the ship – but all come with Disney’s signature family-friendly features.

Inside Staterooms
These are anything but basic. Expect clever design touches, generous storage and nautical styling. On newer ships like Disney Wish, some Inside rooms include magical virtual portholes that stream real-time sea views — sometimes with a surprise Disney character floating past.

Oceanview Staterooms
Featuring one or more real portholes, Oceanview cabins give guests the beauty of natural light and scenic views while maintaining a cosy atmosphere. Available across all ships, they’re ideal for those who want that sea connection without stepping outside.

Verandah Staterooms
Private balconies make these cabins especially popular for couples and families who want fresh air and open water views. Some ships offer different styles of verandah — including whitewall and navigator’s verandahs – but all give that extra space to unwind.

Concierge Staterooms & Suites
For an upgraded experience, Concierge accommodation includes access to exclusive lounges, priority boarding and personalised service. Options range from Family Oceanview rooms with Verandah to lavish multi-room suites with premium touches like whirlpool tubs, walk-in wardrobes and spacious balconies. Concierge guests also benefit from dedicated booking assistance for onboard activities and dining.

Accessibility & Communication Features
Each Disney ship includes a number of accessible staterooms and rooms equipped with communication features for guests with specific needs. These include wider doorways, roll-in showers, visual alerts and more.

Themed Décor
Each stateroom reflects the ship’s broader design identity. On Disney Treasure and Wish, the colour palettes and artwork draw on iconic films like Tangled, Cinderella and other classic adventures, weaving storytelling into even the smallest detail.

Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or with kids in tow, Disney’s accommodation ensures a restful retreat after days packed with magic, music and mayhem.
