Where will Legend of the Seas sail?
How much is a Legend of the Seas cruise?
Foodies, this one’s for you: Legend of the Seas features the most dining options of any cruise ship in the world – 28 in total – ranging from laid-back family hangouts to fine dining spots.
Returning by popular demand after its debut on Utopia of the Seas, the Royal Railway – Legend Station brings a whole new meaning to immersive dining. Over five courses, diners are invited to “board” a vintage train and follow explorer Marco Polo’s journey along the Silk routes through China, India and Italy.
Dishes will reflect each region’s culinary traditions – as you chug through China, indulge in mouthwatering Pork and Shrimp Siu Mai, in India it’s all about butter chicken and palak paneer, before delving into deep exploration through Persia, Turkey and Italy. Journeys are accompanied by motion effects, changing window scenery, and even a ticket waiting in your stateroom before departure. Full steam ahead!
Stepping straight into the golden age of cinema, the Hollywoodland Supper Club is bringing early 20th-century glitz and glamour to the high seas. With the dulcet tones of a live jazz band playing, silver-screen projections and a menu that nods to classic Hollywood through its chic cocktails and tasteful bites, this dinner-and-a-show experience is lined up to be one of hedonistic escapism.
New for Legend of the Seas is a reimagined AquaDome Market: a buzzing global food hall offering everything from Mediterranean mezze to Asian street bites. The venue will feature six food stands including Cajun Kitchen for Louisiana-style bites, Adobo serving Mexican flavours, La Española with Spanish tapas, Seoulmate for Korean dishes, Simply Pressed for fresh juices and Crème de la Crêpe for sweet French treats.
Elsewhere, guests will find Royal Caribbean favourites like Chops Grille, Izumi, Hooked Seafood and Surfside Eatery in the family-friendly Surfside neighbourhood.
If you’re sailing onboard Legend of the Seas, you can essentially have a major night out every night with new entertainment across stage, air, water and ice, plus live music spots and more than 20 bars and lounges to choose from.
Royal Caribbean will bring a brand-new stage production to the ship with America’s Got Talent LIVE on Legend of the Seas. Launching in August 2026, the show marks the first time the hugely popular global talent franchise has been adapted for a cruise ship.
Hosted in the Royal Theatre, the production will feature performers from the Got Talent universe, with acts ranging from magicians and musicians to acrobats, aerialists and comedians. The fast-paced variety show promises a constantly changing lineup of performers designed to surprise audiences of all ages.
The sweetest addition yet! Legend of the Seas will stage the popular Broadway and West End musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl for the first time at sea, performed in the ship’s Royal Theatre. With otherworldly sets and toe-tapping tunes, you don’t want to miss out on getting a (wait for it) golden ticket to this one.
Entertainment on Legend of the Seas comes in the form of performances on stage, water, ice and even the sky! In the AquaDome neighbourhood, aerialists, high divers and dancers will perform in jaw-dropping synchronicity. Over at Absolute Zero, the largest ice arena at sea, show-stopping skating spectaculars await.
Evenings continue across a staggering 20-plus bars and lounges. Sip craft cocktails at 1400 Lobby Bar, join the sing-along crowd at Duelling Pianos, or get your groove on dancing to live jazz at Lou’s.
After a bit of adventure? You’re in the right place. Category 6, the largest waterpark at sea, packs in six cascading waterslides. Crown’s Edge combines a terrifying over-water skywalk, 154 feet above the ocean, no less, with an adrenaline-pumping zipline.
Lost Dunes mini-golf will test your putting skills on a ‘post-hurricane deserted-island’, with obstacles like shipwrecks, plane crashes, and fallen palm trees to weave your way through, as well as interactive elements.
For a change of pace, unwind in one of seven pools, from the lively Royal Bay – the biggest pool at sea (noticing a theme?) – to the adults-only Hideaway infinity pool or Swim & Tonic, Royal Caribbean’s first swim-up bar.
Other updates for families include a reimagined Surfside carousel, redesigned Playscape and kids’ splash zones at Splashaway Bay.
After a little luxury? Retreat to the Suite Neighbourhood with upmarket amenities exclusively for suite guests. Soak up rays on the two-storey Grove Suite Sun Deck or take a tranquil dip in the private pool and hot tub.
Upmarket cuisine is also available at the two restaurants – for VIPs only. There’s also the Suite Lounge, where bites and cocktails are available over impressive views right into the heart of the revolutionary AquaDome.
Legend of the Seas will also showcase local creativity through Royal Caribbean’s expanded Artist Discovery Program. For the first time, the initiative will feature six large-scale murals across the ship – up from four on previous vessels.
The artworks will be created by emerging artists from the Caribbean and Central America and displayed in highly visible locations, including the Royal Promenade neighbourhood, embarkation area and Suite Sundeck spaces.
The programme is designed to give up-and-coming artists a global platform while giving guests a visual connection to the regions the ship sails to.
Just like her Icon Class sisters, Icon of the Seas and Star of the Seas, Legend of the Seas also features the spectacular Royal Promenade with floor-to-ceiling sea views and the enormous Pearl kinetic sculpture. Get a nature fix wandering through Central Park, lined with over 30,000 live plants and a cafe.
In July 2026, Legend of the Seas will make her debut in Europe, sailing seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises out of Barcelona and Rome. Ports of call will include Provence, Naples and Palma de Mallorca.
As the weather turns in Europe, the new ship will cross the Atlantic to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to begin her Caribbean season, with six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Southern Caribbean itineraries where destinations like Aruba, Curaçao and Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay are all on the menu.
Legend of the Seas is set to return to Europe for summer 2027, with another season of seven-night Western Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona and Rome.
The ship is then expected to return to Fort Lauderdale for the winter 2027 season, offering a mix of six- and eight-night Caribbean sailings visiting destinations such as Curaçao, Cabo Rojo in the Dominican Republic and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Pricing varies depending on when you sail, where you’re going and whether you book cruise-only or a package with flights and hotel stays.
At the time of writing, seven-night Western Mediterranean sailings in 2026 start from around £1,248 pp cruise-only, while longer transatlantic sailings are available from roughly £1,467 pp. A three-night Caribbean cruise starts from £764 pp.

Finn has always loved travel and feels fortunate to have visited some truly extraordinary places. As a passionate animal lover, safaris stand out among her favourite travel memories – there’s nothing quite like being up close to a magnificent creature such as a leopard or elephant. She believes cruising opens up endless opportunities for exploration, allowing travellers to visit multiple destinations in one trip and reach places that aren’t accessible by plane or train. A Mediterranean cruise around the smaller Greek islands, with time to immerse herself in the local cuisine and culture, is high on her wish list.
