Children to sail for just £1 with Ambassador Cruise Line this summer

Ambassador is allowing children 17 and under to sail for as little as £1 on its multi-generational cruise in July.

The adults-only British cruise line generally targets the over 50’s market but operates a selection of multi-generational cruises every year – ideal for getting the whole gang together.

In summer 2022, families can enjoy a cheap cruise holiday on the Hidden Nordic Treasures itinerary, visiting Finland, Sweden and Denmark.

The cruise onboard first Ambassador ship Ambience departs on July 23.

Sailing from London Tilbury, the voyage will prove super convenient for UK families looking for a no-fly cruise.

The Ambassador cruise will visit beautiful Scandinavian capitals such as Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Other ports of call include Ronne, Tallinn, Visby and Skagen.

Adventures to entertain the whole family aren’t limited to on shore though. Ambassador Cruise Line is laying on plenty of fabulous entertainment onboard Ambience.

This isn’t just any cruise – it’s a themed cruise! And a circus-themed one at that. Roll up, roll up!

Ambience will host specialist performers from La Soiree, Blackpool Tower Circus, Hollywood`s Magic Castle and former Cirque Du Soleil aerialist, Renato Pires and more.

Often fancied running away to the circus? Ambassador passengers will have the chance to get involved and develop their own circus skills.

Juggling, diablo, balancing and illusion workshops will be running for everyone to take part in. No promises on rabbits out of hats though.

What’s included in an Ambassador cruise?

Food is included as part of the cruise fare but guests will have to pay extra to eat in the speciality restaurants. Saffron is Indian & Asian inspired restaurant and costs from £15pp while Sea and Grass is fine dining and costs from £20pp. Drinks packages are available for purchase too.

All cabins have tea and coffee making facilities. A 24-hour room service menu is available in the cabin, too, and offers a range of drinks and snacks, both hot and cold. Room service costs will be charged to guests’ onboard accounts. Tips are not included in the fare.

Ambassador is offering two multi-generational cruises during school holiday periods in 2022. All infants over six months and children are welcome.

However, guests should note that there are no specific children’s facilities onboard. There are pools onboard but any child using the pools onboard must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

For public health reasons, children in nappies (including swim nappies) and kids who are not toilet trained are not permitted in the public swimming pools and/or whirlpools onboard.
