Marella Voyager restaurants

Eat up

Marella Voyager featires a new Mexican restaurant called Abuela’s (meaning grandmother) and is included in the price of a Marella cruise. The eatery will be the only one of its kind in the entire fleet.

Open for lunch and dinner, Abuela’s plates up classic Mexican options made with authentic ingredients such as tacos, burritos, nachos and fajitas.

Also exclusive to Marella Voyager is its new one-of-a-kind speciality restaurant, Silver Fork. This dining venue will offer a twist on classic British dishes.

Another speciality option is The Platter where the menu is designed for sharing; think meat boards, cheeseboards, vegetarian options and wine pairings.

Instead of a buffet, Marella Voyager boasts a theatrical food hall with eight foodie joints in one – expect an Asian-themed zone, a pastry section dubbed Pastry Crust; a dessert area called Cherry on Top and Gravy Boat the carvery.

Other restaurants are Marella Cruises’ favourites. For speciality diners, there’s Kora La which serves an array of pan-Asian dishes, Surf & Turf offering steak, seafood, chicken, lamb and more and Sushi Bar where you can get sushi, sashimi and nigiri as well as dim sum, cooked dishes and desserts.

There are plenty of Marella restaurants in your all-inclusive package too – poolside Snack Shack provides holidaymakers with light options and grab ‘n’ go snacks, Nonna’s offers made-to-order pizza and pasta dishes while Marella Voyager’s main restaurant Latitude 53 serves classic British dishes.

Marella Voyager bars

Cheers!

The Marella cruise ship has three new bars onboard. Perhaps most exciting is the speakeasy-style bar The Exchange, Offering immersive entertainment and cocktails you won’t find elsewhere on the floating hotel, this intimate venue holds only 40 people.

For a pre-dinner drink head to The Summer House – it’s home to an open-air area with brilliant views as well as an indoor space with a retractable roof.

Also with more than one string to its bow is The Arts House, which replaces the Lounge Bar featured on other Marella ships. By day in The Arts House, there’s an arts and crafts zone, by night live musical entertainment comes to the fore.

For Marella classics, there’s traditional British pub Squid & Anchor plus an array of bars, Bar 53 for pre-dinner drinks, Atrium Bar for peaceful tipples with a live pianist, The Shack by the pool and Aperitif which has a specialist gin and whiskey menu.
