Ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed first-look images and a video of public spaces on its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige.
Ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has revealed new images, a fly-through video and full accommodation details for its next ship, Seven Seas Prestige – including a fresh collection of all-balcony suites and a new Mediterranean restaurant.
Seven Seas Prestige will feature one of the highest passenger-to-space ratios in the cruise industry. It will carry 822 guests, and, at 76,550 Gross Tonnes, will become the cruise line’s largest ship to date. An array of brand-new features will debut onboard Seven Seas Prestige, including 12 distinctive suite categories and new dining venues.
Most recently revealed is the Skyview Regent Suite — an 817 sqm two-level suite crowning the top of the ship. With wraparound balconies, a private spa and gym, in-suite elevator, and its own dining venue, it sets a new benchmark for ultra-luxury at sea. Rates start at £20,000 per night and include a personal butler, spa treatments, caviar service, and a private guide and car in every port.
Construction is now underway following a steel-cutting ceremony at Fincantieri’s Marghera shipyard in Italy, kicking off the build of the first in a new ship class – and Regent’s most spacious vessel to date.
Seven Seas Prestige is scheduled for delivery in 2026. It marks Regent’s first new ship class in a decade, following the highly successful Explorer-Class vessels launched in 2016, 2020 and 2023.
“This is a truly historic moment for Regent Seven Seas Cruises as we name the next ship to join The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet, Seven Seas Prestige, and reveal her sleek exterior design,” said Andrea DeMarco, President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
“Debuting in 2026, Seven Seas Prestige will continue our legacy of revolutionising ultra-luxury travel. This incredible new ship will epitomise timeless elegance, exemplifying Regent’s commitment to excellence with her elevated design and sophisticated ambience.”
Regent has unveiled Azure [above], a brand-new Mediterranean speciality restaurant debuting on Seven Seas Prestige. The mezze-style concept is designed to foster connection and community, encouraging guests to share dishes inspired by the culinary diversity of Europe, Africa and Asia.
“Cuisine has always been at the heart of the Regent experience,” said Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Our talented chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, baristas, waiters and servers, work tirelessly to craft a culinary journey… I’m especially excited to reveal Azure — an innovative and exciting new dining experience that will bring fresh flavours and a bold new concept for Regent guests to enjoy.”
The new restaurant joins six other speciality venues on Seven Seas Prestige, all of which have been reimagined by Studio DADO and AD Associates. The full dining line-up includes:
Compass Rose – the largest speciality restaurant at sea, now inspired by celestial navigation and oceanic serenity
Pacific Rim – a Pan-Asian venue rooted in Japanese design principles and Zen-like balance
Prime 7 – a modern take on a Chicago-style steakhouse, fusing industrial grit with glamour
Chartreuse – classic French fare in a chic Art Deco-inspired setting
Sette Mari at La Veranda – authentic Italian dishes served al fresco in the evening
La Veranda – elegant buffet dining by day, with expansive sea views
Azure – brand-new, mezze-style Mediterranean with Middle Eastern design touches
More casual options include the Pool Grill, Coffee Connection, 24-hour in-suite dining and a second new restaurant yet to be revealed. Menus for all speciality venues will be announced closer to launch.
Preview images reveal an insight into two central areas of the new ship where guests will gather: the ‘Starlight Atrium’ and ‘Galileo’s Bar’ – both said to draw on inspiration ranging from classical and Renaissance architecture.
Set across two stories, the Starlight Atrium features twin spiral staircases, which begin on deck 4 and lead all the way up to deck 11.
Whether its gazing out to exquisite ocean views over a glass of Champagne, or chatting practical matters with guest services, the Starlight Atrium’s generous size connects multiple guest amenities across decks 4 & 5, including Galileo’s Bar, the Casino, Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge, Coffee Connection, concierge desk and reception.
Design features include a neutral palette of dusty rose, taupe, and cream, combined with embellished trims and fringing, prestigious artworks, pleated leather panels and a light fixture crafted from handblown glass and ceramic pearls.
Galileo’s Bar’s crowning glory is its Michelangelo-esque fresco: the ceiling overhanging the bar displays a “contemporary masterpiece” canvas, styled like an oil painting and framed by fretted metal detailing.
Strategically positioned to serve both guests in the Prestige Lounge and the adjacent casino, Galileo’s Bar will no doubt become the place to be in the evenings. And, being an all-inclusive cruise line, drinks will be on the house! Well, sort of…
Seven Seas Prestige will see the arrival of new accommodation categories, including a “reimagination” of the iconic Regent Suite (winner of ‘Best Accommodation’ at the Sailawaze Excellence Awards 2025), plus fresh dining venues and concepts – with more details to be announced.
Regent has unveiled full details of Seven Seas Prestige’s all-balcony suite collection, with 12 categories in total, including four brand-new types exclusive to the ship.
