Ambassador announces 2023/24 voyages from first world cruise to new ship’s maiden season

Ambassador Cruise Line has revealed details of second ship Ambience’s maiden season as well the brand’s 2023/24 sailing programme.

Ambassador cruises are worth getting excited about – first ship Ambience – which launched this spring – will return for her second season in 2023 and offer fresh new itineraries, while Ambition will launch for the first time on May 12, 2023.

The two cruise ships combined will sail a whopping six continents and 58 countries, calling at 165 ports and cruising over 176,195 nautical miles. Take that Phileas Fogg.

On which note, cruise fans will be thrice to hear Ambience will be carrying out an around-the-world cruise.

For 2023/24, Ambience will undertake a brand new 120-night ‘Grand Round the World Cruise’, Ambassador’s longest itinerary to date.

The cruise departs on January 4, 2024, with prices starting from £9,229pp. Sailing via the Azores and Caribbean, Ambience will transit the Panama Canal, calling at islands of the South Seas and onto New Zealand and Australia, before exploring Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indian Ocean islands and Kenya.

Guests can experience Durban and Cape Town in South Africa as well as Tristan da Cunha, the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world before crossing the Atlantic to Brazil to explore Rio de Janeiro. Ambience then returns to the UK via Cape Verde, Casablanca and Lisbon.

Meanwhile, Ambition will sail from Ambassador’s home port of London Tilbury plus six new regional UK ports – Newcastle, Dundee, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and Falmouth – offering 49 sailings in 2023.

The new cruise ship will have a guest capacity of 1,200 (with one crew member for every 2.55 guests) and 713 cabins.

Ambassador cruises continue to offer in no-fly itineraries that are adult-focused and primarily aimed at the 50-plus market but will be offering a selection of themed cruises as well as multigenerational sailings.

Cruise passengers can get their mitts on an array of fab launch offers to make these affordable holidays even more piggy bank-friendly.
