Queen Anne shore excursions for the new ship’s maiden season have been revealed by British cruise line Cunard ahead of her 2024 debut.
Cunard has unveiled an array of new and exclusive shore excursions tailored for guests sailing during the maiden season of brand new ship Queen Anne.
The countdown to the latest vessel is on, with fewer than six months until Queen Anne embarks on her inaugural journey.
Luxury cruise line Cunard is now presenting 50 distinctive shore adventures across 60 ports, offering travellers immersive opportunities to engage with local cultures, histories, and natural marvels throughout Europe.
In total, this thrilling new program encompasses over 700 Cunard shore excursions for the 115 ports of call scheduled for Queen Anne’s 2024 voyages.
From an intimate orchestral performance in a hidden gem within Barcelona’s heart to a guided tour behind the scenes of the Vatican City’s St. Peter’s Basilica, these thoughtfully curated Queen Anne shore excursions showcase the finest offerings from the world’s most captivating destinations.
Whether indulging in local delicacies and wine tasting amidst the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Enchanted Forest of Madeira or partaking in a Fjord Safari to a Goat Cheese Farm in Norway, Queen Anne’s signature shore experiences cater to culinary enthusiasts, nature admirers, adventurers, and all those in between.
The distinguished selection of Cunard shore excursions on Queen Anne grants guests the privilege of bypassing queues and experiencing some of Europe’s most beloved tourist attractions with fewer crowds.
Cruisers can also delve into more secluded spots on Queen Anne shore excursions – for instance, an exclusive visit to a gold and silversmith studio in Bergen, renowned for crafting exquisite jewellery, interior design pieces, and fine silverware for over a century and a half.
During her maiden season, Queen Anne will cruise from Southampton on journeys spanning the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and the Norwegian Fjords, encompassing over 60 distinct destinations across 16 countries and encompassing several of Europe’s best ancient cities.
Setting sail on May 3, 2024, for her inaugural seven-night voyage to La Coruna and Lisbon, Cunard Queen Anne will subsequently embark on a 14-night excursion through the Canary Islands before navigating around the British Isles, with stops in Scotland and Ireland, and paying homage to Cunard’s foundational port and spiritual home, Liverpool.
Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, commented: “We are all incredibly excited to welcome Queen Anne to the Cunard fleet in May and it is only right that her maiden season is complemented with a truly captivating shore experience programme.
“Our teams have worked meticulously to curate these 50 signature experiences to ensure that our guests encounter the essence of every port they explore.
“From ancient ruins and culinary escapades to helicopter rides and private snorkelling sessions, we’re delighted to be able to offer such exciting new shore experiences to Queen Anne’s guests.”
