Cunard cruise entertainment aims to transport audiences to worlds of discovery through the power of live performances as Cunard Showcases features an impressive array of critically acclaimed shows exclusively curated for the classic cruise line.
In 2024 the line unveiled its groundbreaking Cunard entertainment program, a first of its kind at sea; it’s a collaborative masterpiece with award-winning theatre producers, directors, writers, choreographers and performers.
Immersing guests in the heart of the action, Cunard Showcases extends beyond the Royal Court Theatre, offering gripping dramas, interactive theatre and multisensory dining experiences throughout the ship.
There are currently four Cunard ships, Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Anne on which guests can relish this new 2024 Cunard entertainment. Here’s what you can expect on Cunard.

On select voyages, Cunard entertainment brings the rhythm of the acclaimed original West End cast of ‘The Drifters Girl’ musical in ‘Kings of the Boardwalk’ resonates in the Royal Court Theatre, presenting a powerful performance of togetherness, unity, camaraderie and friendship.
Audiences can experience a delightful twist with ‘Opera Cocktail,’ where beloved arias, duets and ensembles are performed in witty new English translations, creating a fun and modern setting with an engaging, intimate style.
History is made in March as Rodgers & Hammerstein’s timeless ‘South Pacific’ graces the sea for the first time.
For lovers of classics, the Pursuit Theatre brings Shakespeare’s blockbuster comedy ‘Twelfth Night’ to life.
Cunard passengers can experience the gripping tale of polar endeavours in ‘Discovering Antarctica: Heroic Tales of Shackleton, Crean and Scott,’ or indulge in real-time comedy-drama with ‘Appraisal,’ a story following an annual professional work review gone awry.
Watson hogs the limelight in ‘Watson: The Final Problem,’ embarking on a European journey while being pursued by Moriarty, in this captivating Cunard entertainment performance of Sherlock Holmes’ ever-reliable sidekick.
Spectacle awaits with the ‘Gulliver’ extravaganza, showcasing unique puppetry skills that narrate the tale of Gulliver, a traveller and pioneer, returning with stories of undiscovered lands and creatures after nine years lost at sea.
And that’s not all! Cunard entertainment 2024 sees all things mystery-solving with ‘Cluedo! The Interactive Game,’ inviting Cunard guests into a world of 1930s high society filled with intrigue and secrets.
Meanwhile, Circa Contemporary Circus captivates on Queen Elizabeth with a six-week residency featuring full-scale acrobatics, theatrical productions, workshops, and Q&As.
The Cunard Insights enrichment program, celebrated for hosting acclaimed authors, explorers, filmmakers and various experts, is showcasing more than 2,000 exclusive talks across the fleet in 2024, with a roster of over 430 distinguished experts gracing the stages of Cunard ships.
Queen Elizabeth [below, right] will immerse guests in the Alaskan landscape, featuring famous explorers and adventurers sharing their extraordinary experiences, along with Alaska Native Voices offering cultural insights.
Notably, investigative journalist Ross Kemp [below, left] will address audiences onboard Queen Elizabeth in September, recounting his ventures in Afghanistan, the Amazon and encounters with some of the world’s most dangerous gangs.
The season will also host the esteemed mountaineer Kenton Cool.
Meanwhile, Queen Anne’s inaugural season will traverse the Mediterranean, Scandinavia, the Canary Islands and the Norwegian Fjords, visiting over 60 unique destinations in 16 countries, including Europe’s enchanting ancient cities.
Guests aboard Queen Anne will have the privilege of hearing intimate stories from distinguished figures including MasterChef judge Gregg Wallace, historian Dan Snow MBE and beloved sports presenter Clare Balding, enriching their voyage with diverse perspectives and insights.
