Jools Holland is a British musician, television presenter and former member of the band Squeeze. He is best known for his work as the host of the long-running music television show Later… with Jools Holland, which has been on the air since 1992.

Throughout his career, Jools Holland has been involved in various musical genres, including rock, pop, jazz and blues. An accomplished pianist, he has collaborated with numerous artists and bands, both as a performer and a producer. Holland has also released several solo albums, showcasing his skills as a musician and bandleader.

In addition to his musical career, Jools Holland has also made appearances on TV shows and films, including the movie Spice World and British comedy series The Young Ones. He is known for his energetic and charismatic stage presence, as well as his passion for promoting and showcasing a wide range of musical talent.

The first Jools Holland cruise departs in January, another follows in March before two in April and one in June.

Jools Holland cruise holidays will see the musician bring his top-notch entertainment to The Club, Saga’s first-ever celebrity-endorsed venue, onboard Spirit of Discovery.

The joint – reminiscent of the famous music lounges of the 1950s complete with elegant wood panelling and a grand piano – is entirely free for Saga guests and serves up delicious meals and cocktails to cater for all palates.

Classic starters range from Retro Tiger Prawn Cocktail to Baked Three Onion Soup while passengers can tuck into Jools’ Signature Dishes for mains.

These include New York striploin steak, tomahawk steak, roast rack of lamb, Berkshire porterhouse pork steak, grilled fish of the day and baked aubergine with bulgar wheat and grilled halloumi.

The Club by Jools also puts on a smorgasbord of live performances from guest musicians – including Jools Holland himself on his special cruises of course – to keep globetrotters toe-tapping all evening long.

The other main entertainment venue on Spirit of Discovery is The Playhouse which seats 444 guests (and every view is excellent).
