VIVA Cruises, a European river cruise specialist and proud member of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA), is excited to announce its inaugural LGBT cruise dubbed a ‘LGBTQ+ & Friends’ sailing.
This four-night adventure, set to run from February 28 to March 3, 2024, offers a leisurely exploration of Antwerp, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, all within an LGBTQ+ inclusive atmosphere. Booking for this new VIVA Cruises LGBT cruise is already available online.
Taking place on VIVA MOMENTS, a modern river cruise ship accommodating up to 176 guests, this five-day journey begins and concludes in Antwerp, a city known for its chic independent fashion houses and museums.
On the second day, guests will have the opportunity to discover Rotterdam, famous for its contemporary architecture and vibrant creative scene, as well as being home to Europe’s largest port.
A guided city walk will immerse travellers in the local culture, providing access to a wide array of museums and art galleries.
Days three and four are spent in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, with an overnight mooring. One of the highlights of this VIVA Cruises LGBT cruise is a canal trip, showcasing the iconic canals and traditional narrow houses with their characteristic gabled facades.
Visitors can also explore the IHLIA LGBTI Heritage, housing the world’s largest archive of LGBTQ+ history. The evenings beckon with a chance to experience Amsterdam’s lively LGBTQ+ nightlife, featuring renowned bars and clubs in popular areas like Reguliersdwarsstraat, Zeedijk, and Warmoesstraat.
As the journey returns to Rotterdam, guests can unwind in the wellness area of VIVA MOMENTS or continue enjoying the onboard entertainment, with a DJ playing the latest tunes every evening on VIVA Cruises LGBT cruise.
Pricing for the LGBTQ+ & Friends cruise starts at £795 per person and includes VIVA Cruises’ signature VIVA All-Inclusive package, encompassing snacks, full board, premium alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a stocked minibar, luxury beauty products from Rituals, Wi-Fi access, as well as all tips and gratuities.
