How to get 10% off a Seychelles LGBTQ+ cruise in 2023

LGBT cruises are vital all year round, but there’s no denying Pride Month in June highlights the importance of supporting the LGBTQ+ community – and Variety Cruises has unveiled how it’s celebrating.

Variety Cruises – a Greek small ship company – is showcasing its continued commitment to LGBTQ+ travellers and its support for the community, by offering a limited-time offer for its LGBT cruise in the Seychelles.

The eight-day Seychelles cruise, taking place on October 28, 2023, visits such hotspots as Anse Lazio, La Digue [below] and Curieuse (and you can read all about sailing these islands with Variety in our review here).

A round trip to Mahé island, it takes passengers to a plethora of destinations where they can explore the extraordinary fauna and flora within a yacht environment.

Optional excursions offer further opportunities to dive into a marvellous underwater world or walk through tropical jungles and capture heavenly beaches.

The LGBT cruise highlights include an Off-Broadway-at-Sea night led by a guest host, influencer, actor and model Edward Pishiyski and soft adventure tours exploring the beauty and rich culture of the destination.

Celebrating Pride at Sea comes with fab savings too. For bookings made until June 30, 2023, cruisers benefit from a 10 percent discount on double occupancy with Variety Cruises!

So, how do you get your hands on Variety’s LGBT cruise 2023? All guests are required to do is mention “LQBTQ Seychelles 2023” at the time of booking and the cruise deal will kick in. If you don’t, full rates will apply.

You’ll have to be quick, though! Offers are valid for new bookings made by June 30, 2023, and are valid for a limited number of cabins, are capacity-controlled and may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

This isn’t the first time Variety Cruises has proved its LGBTQ+ credentials. The small ship cruise company is a long-standing member of the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA).

It’s also a strong supporter of the Trevor Project, the leading suicide prevention line for queer youth, and is one of the first cruise lines to implement optional preferred pronouns in its day-to-day operations to support diversity and gender expression.

Constantine Venetopoulos, Director of Communications & PR for Variety, part of the third generation of this Greek and family-owned cruise line, will be joining guests on board this year’s Limited Collection LGBTQ+ itinerary above.

Constantine has been a volunteer counsellor of The Trevor Project, whose mission is to end suicide among LGBTQ young people since 2011, and is also the director of the film Draw With Me which was the first documentary on transgender history to be presented at the United Nations during the 50th anniversary of the Stone Wall riots. He now vigorously leads the Gender Equality pillar of the Variety Cares Foundation.

The rates on the 148ft (45 meters) Pegasus for the Limited Collection LGBTQ+ Cruise to the Seychelles start at $3,050 (£2378) – $470 (£366) port taxes excluded.
