Real Alcazar de Sevilla is the Royal Palace of Seville and one of the oldest palaces still in use in the world. It dates back to the 11th century and has evolved through different stages over time. Visitors can experience exquisite rooms decorated with plasterwork, tiling and coffered ceilings and splendid gardens, while highlights of the palace-fortress include the Patio de las Doncellas courtyard, with its stunning tiled plinths, and the Patio de las Muñecas courtyard, with its amazing collection of capitals.
