La Petite France in Strasbourg is home to the historical centre of the city, complete with a charming canal system, narrow streets and picturesque half-timbered buildings where fishermen, tanners and millers once lived. The district is spread across a river delta, formed by the five arms of the river and is very peaceful to stroll around.
